Our ground white peppercorns are grown, harvested and produced in Indonesia. White pepper is a very versatile spice, though it is more commonly used with savoury, hearty dishes like mashed potato, stews and soups. It also works fantastically with fish, shellfish, and surprisingly... fruit!
White pepper is widely used in Asian recipes, helping to add a mild, aromatic level of heat without being overbearing. We recommend adding white pepper to your dishes after cooking, as heat can cause the pepper to become bitter. White pepper is a great alternative to black pepper in seasoning lighter coloured sauces and dishes.
