Red Lentil and Sweet Potato Curry
Eating healthy, wholesome and delicious vegan food doesn’t have to be pricey! Our sweet potato and lentil curry is packed with filling, wholefoods. Serve on a bed of fluffy rice or with homemade naan.
We love batch cooking this dish in advance. It can be enjoyed through the week or you can freeze this curry to be enjoyed at a later date.
Our go-to simple supper for summer. A great way to use our popular refried black turtle bean recipe! You can add fresh crisp salad, chopped red onions and a meat substitute if you want to make these wraps more filling. We love adding Oatly Oat Fraiche and spicy salsa to ours! Serve hot or cold, these wraps make a great addition to picnics and parties. Our recipe is for one wrap, but if you need to make more, just increase the quantities as you see fit.
This recipe could not be easier to make. You can use your favourite veggies & spices to use up the ingredients you have in your cupboard. The beans are a great source of protein and are super filling.
We can guarantee this lasagne will satisfy both vegans and meat eaters alike! It’s really simple to make and tastes delicious. We’ve upped the protein content by adding tofu! This recipe is a great crowd-pleaser. Serve with a fresh green salad and garlic bread!
Our super simple speedy pizza is the perfect weeknight supper recipe. It’s really less of a recipe, more of a list of assembly instructions. Much healthier than takeaway pizza, but missing none of the glorious flavour!
The toppings suggested here are more of a guide. So add, take away, mix up all your favourite toppings to make your perfect pizza. We’ve used Biona’s wonderful Wheat Pizza bases. We also stock the Spelt bases, as well as gluten-free options by Schar. All our pizza bases are great store cupboard ingredients to have on hand!
Are you on a plant-based diet but missing a fishy flavour? Or maybe you just want to reduce your meat consumption for ethical reasons? This recipe is the answer! It has all the familiar flavours of fish, but without the fish. We achieved this with the use of banana blossom and seaweed. Sounds unusual – tastes flipping delicious.
Toasted sesame oil is the key ingredient in this recipe! We don’t know why but it’s one of the most moorish ingredients to include in a recipe. It’s got this gorgeous nutty flavour that makes these noodles simply scrumptious. Add your favourite veggies and toppings! We love adding carrots and red peppers as we did in the recipe, but you can add whatever is to hand! Other great toppings are mushrooms, mange tout, tofu or baby corn!
Vegetable tagine is one of our simple, go to suppers for when we want something hearty and delicious. It’s a one pot dish that you can add, mix and bake. We love adding our black eclipse chickpeas to this dish to make it extra filling. Don’t forget to soak overnight before adding to the tagine. Alternatively, you can use pre-cooked chickpeas!
