A Fiery Blend – Herby & Spicy

This infusion of flavours embodies the typical tastes of Cajun and Creole cuisine, which originate from Louisiana, USA.

The Cayenne pepper and paprika pack some serious heat, so adjust amount according to your tastes. These spices compliment dishes such as burritos, fajitas and tacos wonderfully.

We recommend sprinkling this onto potato wedges before baking. It also makes a perfect marinade for chicken if mixed with oil and lemon juice!

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients and using a pestle and mortar crush gently until the herbs are mixed together.
  2. Store in an airtight container to ensure maximum freshness!
  3. If you do not have a pestle and mortar, this blend can be made by placing all ingredients in a jar and shaking until adequately mixed.
