Chocolate Crunch Banana Sushi
- Makes 4-6 bite-sized pieces.
- Crunchy seeds and nibs have a nice bite.
- No added sugar, naturally sweetened by the banana!
Almond Butter, Organic, Roasted 350g (Biona)
Almond Butter, Organic, Roasted 350g (Biona) 5-6 tsp of Almond Butter
Organic Raw Cacao Powder 1kg (Sussex Wholefoods)
1 Tbsp Cacao Powder
Organic Raw Cacao Nibs 1kg (Sussex Wholefoods)
2 Tbsp Cacao Nibs
Sesame Seeds, Whole 1kg (Sussex Wholefoods)
2 Tbsp Sesame Seeds
Other Ingredients
Half a large banana.
Method
- On a chopping board, spread the almond butter liberally over as much of the length of the banana as possible. Roll it as you spread the nut butter.
- On a side plate spoon out the cacao powder and roll the banana in the powder to coat thickly in cacao.
- Sprinkle over the sesame seeds and gently roll the banana in order to coat it in as many seeds as possible.
- Prior to cutting, sprinkle over the cacao nibs and gently press them into the top surface of the coated banana.
- Chill until ready to slice (these are best prepared up to an hour before serving). Slice into regular thickish bites and present as you wish.
