Other Ingredients
- 1 fresh orange
Method
-
Chop your dark chocolate.
-
Place a heatproof bowl over a pan of boiling water. Add your chocolate pieces, 1tbsp cacao powder and coconut oil and, using a whisk, mix until melted.
- Grate, then juice your orange – you need about 3tbsp of orange juice and 1tsp of orange zest.
-
Take the bowl off the pan.
-
Add the orange juice, orange zest, icing sugar and cocoa powder. Mix until combined.
-
Chill the mixture in the fridge for 20 minutes, give it a good stir and put back in the fridge for a further 20 minutes (until it’s thick enough for you to handle and roll the truffles).
-
Place 2tbsp cacao powder on a plate and dust your fingers with cacao powder.
-
Using a teaspoon, spoon out a small amount of the mixture and roll it into a sphere with your fingers.
-
Roll the balls in the cocoa until coated all around.
-
Place in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
- Enjoy!
