Mistletoe Kisses Raw Dark Chocolate

  • Rich, Dark Chocolate with a Turkish Delight Flavour
  • These are luxury dark chocolates, naturally flavoured with Organic Rose Oil. They are quick to make and will certainly indulge someone who is partial to the flavour of pink Turkish Delight!
  • The Raw Cacao Powder used in this recipe has a real depth of flavour that ordinary cocoa powder doesn’t quite match. Combine this with some Raw Cacao Butter and you have some seriously smooth chocolate!
  • This mixture makes around 20 chocolates, dependent on your size of chocolate mould.

Method

  1. Melt the Cacao Butter in a “bain marie” or a heat-proof bowl placed into a saucepan of boiling water – make sure the water does not touch the base of the bowl.
  2. Once melted, remove the bowl carefully from the saucepan of water and sit on top of a tea-towel. Now add the Cacao Powder and Icing sugar. Stir gently until the ingredients are combined.
  3. Note: We advise you not to measure the Organic Rose Otto Oil directly over the melted chocolate as any mistake will make the flavour too overpowering to palate. It is highly concentrated! Instead… using the dropper top already attached to the bottle, gently shake a drop of the Oil onto a metal teaspoon. Stir into the melted chocolate mix. Taste the chocolate mix with another clean spoon and if necessary repeat the process until you have the required strength of flavour.
  4. Make sure your chocolate mould is free of any moisture. Then gently fill each shape to the top. Then gently tap the sides to help any trapped air bubbles rise to the surface. Set aside to cool on a flat surface. We placed ours in the fridge for a couple of hours before turning out.
  5. Store in an airtight container somewhere cool or in the salad compartment of your fridge.
