Sesame Seaweed Salad
Our sesame seaweed salad is so simple to make, and tastes delicious. This dish is packed with umami flavours making it incredibly moorish. Enjoy as an afternoon snack or serve as a tasty side dish alongside sushi.
Add chilli flakes for an extra spicy kick! You can also stir in freshly grated carrot or thinly sliced radishes.
Organic Atlantic Sea Spaghetti 25g (Clearspring)
25g Seaweed
Organic Sweet White Miso Pouch 250g (Clearspring)
1 heaped tsp white miso
Shoyu Soya Sauce, Organic 150ml (Clearspring)
1 tsp soya sauce
Mikawa Mirin, Organic 150ml (Clearspring)
1 tbsp Mirin
Clearspring Organic Brown Rice Vinegar 150ml
1 tbsp Brown rice vinegar
Organic Toasted Sesame Oil 250ml (Clearspring)
2 tbsp Toasted Sesame Oil
Furikake Seasoning [Sesame] 65g (Sanchi)
1 heaped tsp furikake
Other Ingredients
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
Method
- Soak your seaweed for 5 minutes in boiling water.
- Whilst your seaweed is soaking, make your dressing. Whisk together the miso, soy sauce, mikawa mirin, brown rice vinegar, toasted sesame oil and lemon juice.
- Drain your seaweed and stir the dressing through, making sure the seaweed is totally coated.
- Sprinkle the furikake seasoning over the salad and serve!
