Spiced Bean and Rice Wrap
Our go-to simple supper for summer. A great way to use our popular refried black turtle bean recipe! You can add fresh crisp salad, chopped red onions and a meat substitute if you want to make these wraps more filling. We love adding Oatly Oat Fraiche and spicy salsa to ours! Serve hot or cold, these wraps make a great addition to picnics and parties. Our recipe is for one wrap, but if you need to make more, just increase the quantities as you see fit.
Wheat Tortilla Wraps, Organic 240g (Amaizin)
One wheat tortilla
1 tablespoon of grated vegan cheese
Organic Sweetcorn 340g (Biona)
1 tablespoon sweetcorn
Creamy Oat Fraiche 200ml (Oatly)
1 teaspoon of oat fraiche
Mild Salsa Dip, Organic 260g (Biona)
1 teaspoon of salsa
Other Ingredients
- cooked rice (about 50g for each person)
- tomatoes
- fresh herbs
- avocado
- red peppers
- red onion
Method
- To make tortilla wraps, place some cooked rice, refried beans, chopped tomatoes, fresh herbs, avocado slices (or guacamole), salsa, oat fraiche and red onion on your tortilla. Add your favourite vegan cheese, fold it, place it under the grill for about 3 minutes, then enjoy!
