Teff Grain 680g, Gluten Free (Bob's Red Mill)
190g Whole Teff Grain.
Ecomil Nature Organic Sugar Free Almond Drink 1L
300ml-320ml of Almond Milk.
Cuisine Coconut Oil 610ml, Organic & Odourless (Biona)
1 Tbsp Deodorised Coconut Butter.
Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Powder (100g) - Sussex Wholefoods
¼ tsp of Cinnamon Powder.
Chopped Dates 500g (Healthy Supplies)
50g Chopped Dates.
Buckwud Canadian Maple Syrup 250g (Rowse)
2-4 Tbsp Maple Syrup or according to taste.
Almond Butter, Organic, Roasted 350g (Biona)
1-2 tablespoons for a creamy consistency!
Chocolate Orange Oaty Porridge - Recipe
With gluten-free oats, cacao, coconut sugar and orange peel.
Other Ingredients
- 300ml-320ml of cold water.
- 1-2 fresh bananas, sliced.
Method
- Add the Teff grain to a saucepan along with the water, almond milk, coconut oil, cinnamon and chopped dates.
- Bring to the boil and then allow to simmer for 15-20minutes, stirring frequently.
- Once the porridge has become softened and thick add the Almond Butter.
- For a thinner porridge than shown in the photos, add more almond milk as required.
- Remove from heat and taste. Add Maple Syrup to taste.
- Serve with slices of fresh banana.
