Chocolate Orange Oaty Porridge - Recipe

With gluten-free oats, cacao, coconut sugar and orange peel.

Other Ingredients

  • 300ml-320ml of cold water.
  • 1-2 fresh bananas, sliced.

Method

  1. Add the Teff grain to a saucepan along with the water, almond milk, coconut oil, cinnamon and chopped dates.
  2. Bring to the boil and then allow to simmer for 15-20minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. Once the porridge has become softened and thick add the Almond Butter.
  4. For a thinner porridge than shown in the photos, add more almond milk as required.
  5. Remove from heat and taste. Add Maple Syrup to taste.
  6. Serve with slices of fresh banana.
