Tortilla ‘Ghosts’ Crackers & Black Bean ‘Plasma’
This is a great recipe to whip up for a halloween party. You can cut your homemade tortilla chips into any shapes! We made little ghosts to accompany our black bean ‘plasma’ dip! The dramatic colour of the dip is achieved using black sesame tahini and black turtle beans!
Organic Black Beans 400g (Suma)
One can of black beans (drained and rinsed)
Organic Black Tahini 250g (Biona)
1 heaped tbsp black tahini
Organic Garlic Granules 100g (Sussex Wholefoods)
1 heaped tsp garlic granules
Organic Onion Granules 100g (Sussex Wholefoods)
1 tsp onion granules
Premium Cumin Powder 100g (Sussex Wholefoods)
1 tsp cumin powder
Spanish Extra Virgin Olive Oil 5 Litres (La Espanola)
2 large tbsp extra virgin olive oil plus extra for brushing on your tortilla ghouls
Other Ingredients
The juice of one fresh lemon
Method
- Cut your Tortillas into little ghosts. Brush them with oil and pan fry them until crisp.
- Blend your black beans, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice, black tahini, olive oil and cumin until smooth.
- Serve to your favourite ghouls!
