It's noticeable, as you bite into one of these little biscuits, how many flavours there are hiding, almost like in layers - each flavour peaks for a few moments and then is replaced by another. Initially, you can taste a
delicate sweetness, followed by the
cinnamon, nutmeg and cocoa and lastly, a
deep nutty, almost oaty taste of the base ingredients (buckwheat and various seeds).
(There are no oats in this product)
Good For You
As all these ingredients have not been cooked, they have retained all of their nutrients and natural goodness. The various seeds provide the body with lovely
fibre, essential fatty acids (omega 3 & 6), minerals and some
protein. There is also real fruit in here, providing more fibre,
vitamins and a
natural, sweetener.
Despite the name, Buckwheat is not wheat. We promise! That means this snack is gluten free. Buckwheat is also still classed as a cereal and is very good for you.
