What is carob?

Carob is a bean grown in in the mediterranean. It is naturally sweet and a popular chocolate alternative. It has far less fat than chocolate and also contains no caffeine. This bar hides no artificial sweeteners or added sugar. The sweet taste is purely from the ingredients themselves.
Ingredients
non-hydrogenated vegetable fat (palm, palm kernel), inulin; carob, emulsifier: sunflower lecithin; flavouring Natural Orange Oil. This product has been made in a nut free environment.
