Our organic defatted almond flour is not dissimilar to regular almond flour, in that you can use this for many different recipes - especially for baking cakes, cookies and sweet bakes. This flour is made from ground, organic almonds that have been cold-pressed to remove the fat/oil, making this product fat-free and a great choice in using as a flour alternative especially for any dietary requirements that would call for a lower fat content.

There is still a great amount of nutritional benefits to this flour too, as it is still high in fibre and protein, however it has a lower fat and carbohydrate content. This product won't cause spikes in blood sugar levels either, making it suitable for anyone looking to keep their diet blood sugar friendly. Our organic defatted almond flour has a light, fragrant scent of almonds and mild taste of this too.
