Sprouted Risotto Mix is a combination of Sprouted Brown Rice, Sprouted Lentils and Sprouted Flax seeds, three foods that have been nutritional staples for many cultures around the world. This sprouted risotto mix is high in Fibre, a source of Iron and high in Omega-3 Fatty Acids.
Use Organic Traditions Sprouted Risotto Mix as a substitute for any white rice, brown rice, pasta or grain dish.
Directions:
Savoury:
Bring 375ml of water to boil. Add 250g of Sprouted Risotto Mix. Cover and lower heat. Simmer for 35 mins. Let it stand for 10 minutes and fluff. Add a pinch of salt, 1 tablespoon of coconut oil or olive oil and seasonings!
Sweet:
Cook as above, but instead of adding salt and oil - add desiccated coconut, freeze-dried fruit and maple syrup.
