Wheat, Dairy & Gluten Free Hot Cereal Mix

Bob's Red Mill uses stone ground grains to make coarse flours and porridges. This mix is 100% gluten free. Not only are the ingredients naturally gluten free but farms and harvests are regularly inspected to ensure no gluten comes into contact with the contents of Bob's Red Mill cereals.
Sorghum, corn and brown rice are all types of harvested grain. They are not related to wheat and contain no gluten. Similarly buckwheat comes from a harvested grass however it is not known as a grain or cereal. Instead buckwheat is known as a pseudo-cereal and this too has no relation to wheat and is indeed gluten free.
The combination of these cereals, makes a satisfying, nutritious and comforting gluten free porridge. Many people cannot tolerate oats, therefore Mighty Tasty Hot Cereal allows ceoliacs and oat-intolerant people to enjoy a warm and porridgy breakfast.
Directions
Use 1 part cereal to 2½ water. Boil water then add the cereal. Immediately turn down the heat and cook until all water has been absorbed (and the cereal is soft).
Healthy Supplies gave this mix a try. Half a small mug of cereal is enough for one person. This mix can also be enjoyed with milk, this time by heating the milk and cereal together and keep stirring. If you are making a large batch (more than to people), we advise not to use milk in case it catches at the bottom of the pan.
