Traditional Indian Cow Peas

Cow peas are used as a form of dal in Indian food. They are relatively quick to cook (20-25 mins depending on taste).

Like all pulses, cow peas are high in protein and fibre.

Directions

Cooking is similar to lentils, but with a slightly longer cooking time. Boil in water for 20-25 mins. Use cow peas in curries.
