These peppers are normal peppers, and not "hot" in any way.
They are peeled over a flame. This softens them and enhances their flavour.
You get about 4 or 5 whole peppers in a jar.
The most common use for these peppers is to chop them up and put them in salads, sauces and casserole-type dishes.
