- Use about 1 teaspoon per cup.
- Heat fresh water to a rolling boil.
- Pour the boiling water over the plantain leaves in a teapot or mug.
- Allow the tea to steep for about 10-15 minutes.
- If desired, strain the tea to remove any plant matter.
- Add honey or lemon to taste, as plantain tea can be bitter.
