Tiana Coconut Nectar is significantly lighter in colour than other coconut sugars. This is because the coconut nectar is processed quickly after harvesting and therefore retains both its delicate natural flavours and nutrients. The nectar turns into fine crystals with a taste reminiscent of Light Muscovado sugar. Coconut sugar is a good alternative to cane sugar as it has a low GI.
The biscuity-caramel flavour and aroma make it a versatile sweetener for coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, cakes and puddings. Alongside this it has a low melting temperature, but high burn temperature making it perfect for confectionery.
