About the Olives:
Due Sicilie which literally translates as 'Two Sicilies' is a unique blend of two varieties of olive: Western Nocellara del Belice and Eastern Moresca - from Sicily. This has produced an unparalleled Sicilian Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The land is family owned and they work by organic methods. They have been in the olive oil business for over 120 years.
These olives have been handpicked and then cold pressed within 5 hours of harvest. This process is known as 'fast press', which retains all the natural goodness for optimal freshness, colour and flavour. It additionally helps to retain the natural polyphenols (antioxidants) and essential unsaturated fats (which help to reduce cholesterol).
Flavour and Appearance:
Mastri di San Basilio's Due Sicilie Extra Virgin Olive Oil is crystal clear and bright golden yellow in colour. It is wonderfully rich and smooth with refreshing aromas of salad greens, fresh tomato and mint. The taste is much deeper with a hint of light walnut and subtle pepper.

About The Bottle & Cap:
The bottle is sealed using a special anti-refill cap. It allows for easy pouring but cannot be lifted for refilling. The cap works to retain complete freshness and protects the oil from oxidation after opening. This is a patented device.

Directions:
This oil can be enjoyed in its purest form: as a dip for warm crusty bread. It also makes a beautiful salad dressing, or drizzled over grilled meats and fish.
