Our Egg Replacer Flour Blend is the perfect substitute for whole egg powder, or a replacement for eggs in general, especially with any vegan recipes or for those that may have an egg allergy. This flour blend is made from potato starch, tapioca starch and psyllium husk, making it not only gluten-free, but also soy and grain free.
This egg replacer blend simplifies baking for people who cannot consume eggs. It helps to mimic eggs in recipes, by easily binding ingredients together and keeping cakes soft and fluffy. You can use our egg replacer in place of whole eggs, egg yolks and egg whites depending on the recipe requirement and the mixture ratio.
This flour blend also has zero cholesterol, in contrast with eggs, which have around 190mg in one large egg. So this makes it a great option for anyone wanting to lower their cholesterol without missing out at all.
To replace one whole egg, use around 1 tablespoon of replacer mixed with 2 tablespoons of water. Mix it well and leave for up to 10 minutes to thicken up.
For one egg white, use about 1 and a half teaspoons of replacer with around 2 tablespoons of water.
For one egg yolk, use around 1 and a half teaspoons of replacer with 1 tablespoon of water.
Unfortunately, this product won't be able to replace eggs for dishes like scrambled eggs or meringues.
