Organic Italian Short Grain Brown Risotto Rice

  • Ideal for risotto, paella and stuffing roasted vegetables.
  • This brown rice is full of flavour.

  • 500g pack.
This short-grained brown rice is ideal for risotto, paella and other "moist" rice dishes. Brown rice has a more absorbent texture than white rice and has a fuller flavour.

Directions

  • In risotto or paella: Sweat chopped onions in a pan before adding the rice, together with water. Add spices (such as paprika, saffron etc) and cook for 15 minutes, continually stirring and adding water. Add the other ingredients, cover the pan and leave to simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  • To just cook on its own: Add to boiling water and leave to simmer for 25 minutes or until tender.
