Raw Activated Walnut Halves

Activated walnuts are a truly different experience to regular walnuts. The activation process removes the bitterness that you often find in walnuts. Sprouted walnuts are also darker than conventional walnuts - this is due to the tannins being extracted during the soaking process.

Walnuts are an excellent source of omega 3 fatty acids – so a perfect addition to vegetarian and vegan diets. Activated walnuts work well as a snack. You can also crumbled on to salads, add to sandwiches and used in place of regular walnuts in recipes!
