Whole Organic Millet Grain

  • Organic millet grains.
  • Has a mild natural sweetness.
  • Ideal for soups, stews and puddings.
  • Millet grain does not naturally contain gluten.
Whole millet is a very small grain which like rice, has a natural subtle sweetness. So as with rice, millet may be used in a similar way: for puddings, stews and instead of cous cous.

Millet can also be ground down to make millet flour which is a popular ingredient in gluten free cooking/baking.

Directions

Roast millet in a little oil until lightly brown. Then simmer in water for 20 minutes or until fluffy.
