Organic Brown Teff Porridge

Godgrains selects its suppliers very carefully to make sure that farmers grow its grains in low acidic soils without using any pesticides, whatsoever. The content of the soil is tremendously important therefore it is fundamental to our produce. Soil is the mother of all grains.

Storage

Once open store in an airtight container and consume within 2 months. Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.

Directions

Breakfast idea: Banana-walnuts Teff-Porridge - prepared in 2 minutes!

  • 1 cup teff porridge
  • 3 cups of water (or liquid of your choice)
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup crushed walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin unrefined coconut oil
  • 1 sliced banana (save some for topping)
  • 1 tablespoon of manuka honey or maple syrup

Bring saucepan to medium heat. Add all the ingredients and stir well to combine. Bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, turn the heat to medium low, cover and cook for two minutes, stir from time to time. Done!
