Wakame is a species of sea weed. It is very good for you. Wakame is a good source of omega-3 fatty acid, the minerals calcium, iodine, thiamine, niacin, magnesium and iron. Like most seaweeds, it is a good source of protein and is very low in calories.

Wakame has been incorporated into these noodles for added flavour and natural goodness. Try cooking these noodles with ginger & spring onions, accompanied by meat, seafood or vegetables in a noodle soup or stir fry. Perhaps sprinkle on additional sea weed flakes to enhance the flavour.
