Oat bran is a high-fibre food, and can be used as an additive and as a base ingredient for many recipes including muesli, porridge and bread. Oat bran contains both soluble fibre and insoluble fibre (soluble fibre is the one that helps to reduce your cholesterol level).
Directions
You can make pure oat-bran porridge using this product. Simply stir one cupful of oat bran into 2.5 cupfuls of cold water or milk, bring to the boil and simmer for 3 minutes. You can also use the microwave.
This oat bran can also be sprinked into muesli, or normal porridge.
