Cacao Powder
Our Criollo cacao is sustainably grown in the Peruvian Amazon, the birthplace of cacao. Smallholder farmers use traditional agroforestry methods, protecting the rainforest and relying on the weekly harvest (April-September) for their livelihoods. Beans are processed locally before export.
- Naturally rich in theobromine.
- Contains flavonoids that may promote healthy circulation.
- High in Antioxidants.
- Use in cakes, brownies, cookies, and muffins for a deep chocolate flavour.
- Mix with water, warm milk or a dairy-free alternative for a comforting drink.
- Add a spoonful to your morning smoothie for a nutrient-rich, chocolaty boost.
- Use to make raw energy balls, protein bars, or homemade chocolate.
- 100% pure cacao, nothing added, nothing taken away. No additives or preservatives.
We believe in preserving the natural goodness of cacao. That's why our powder is unroasted and not alkalised (Dutched), avoiding the harsh processing that can diminish the bean's inherent nutrients and flavour profile.
This careful approach results in a cacao powder that's bursting with natural vitality and rich, deep chocolate notes. The 10-12% fat content strikes the perfect balance, making it incredibly versatile for baking rich desserts or crafting delicious, comforting hot chocolate.
