Handmade Christmas Pudding
Thursday Cottage have been hand making their products in small batches for over 55 years since the business was established in Somerset in a cottage of the same name.
Since the business was moved to Tiptree, Essex is 2002 nothing much has changed, Thursday Cottage still hand make all of their products in small batches using traditional production processes, so that their products are as close to home made as they can get on a commercial scale. Their Christmas Pudding base recipe and method of manufacture is over 18 years old but now contains no palm oil.
These Christmas puddings are Nut Free and suitable for vegetarians, from 2019 they are also Palm Oil Free. The fruit is steeped in alcohol for at least a day before they are cooked, which adds a great deal to the overall flavour.
It's recommended to steam the pudding for an hour and half before serving, but they can be microwaved. With the outer box this pudding makes a special gift.
