Whole spelt grain offers a tasty alternative to rice or other whole grains such as barley grain in a variety of slow cook, soup dishes, casseroles and risottos.
Pre-soak if desired. Otherwise, add to boiling water or vegetable stock and simmer until tender. These grains will naturally have a slight bite to them as they are wholegrain and unpolished.
