Fennel Seeds
- Herb-like flavour similar to mild aniseed.
- Used to flavour roasted vegetables, meats and salads.
- Typically used in Indian and Chinese dishes.
- 1kg.
Fennel seeds are typically used in Middle-Eastern, Indian and European cuisine and the flavour profile is similar to a mild aniseed. You can add this product to roasted foods such as meats (and meat alternatives), roasted vegetables and mix into salads for an extra boost of flavour! Fennel seeds can also be ground to make it even easier to mix into various recipes - such as: spice mixtures, soups, sauces, curries, pickles, condiments, breads, cakes, pancakes, desserts, confectionery and drinks. The possibilities are endless.
Our fennel seeds can also be used to make tea, which can easily be enjoyed in the same way as you would with instant/bagged tea. Simply steep the seeds in hot water for 5 minutes and you'll have your fennel tea ready to consume.
