This coconut flour is fine enough to be added to cake mixture and biscuit dough to help produce lighter, melt-in-the mouth textures.
Not only does coconut provide a wheat-free alternative in baking it adds fibre and natural sweetness. This is a versatile ingredient which can be added to sweet and savoury cooking as well as adding protein to drinks.
Coconut flour is different from coconut powder. It is more finely milled, and is pressed to remove most of the oil in order to give it a flour-like consistency.
