Green Peas have a natural mild sweetness and taste delicious in savoury dishes, including pea and ham soup, mixed vegetable broth and home baked lasagne.
Using Green Split Peas
You have the choice to either pre-soak your peas or cook them from raw. Add to a pan of water (submerging the peas) and leave to simmer until tender. This should only take 15-20 minutes. Alternatively, you can always add these peas straight to your soup or broth, cooking for 20 minutes until they are soft.
