This bulk bag of pine nuts is an excellent family pack for use in pesto-making, salad topping or to eat as a snack.
Directions
To make pesto: Crush equal amounts of pine nuts and basil, loosening the mixture with generous amounts of olive oil. Add parmesan cheese and garlic to taste.
In general cooking: Pine nuts can be used in pasta salads, pasta meals and in stir-fries.
As a snack: Pine nuts are excellent for snacking and mixed with similar nuts such as macadamia nuts and cashews.
