Directions

  • To make pesto: Crush equal amounts of pine nuts and basil, loosening the mixture with generous amounts of olive oil. Add parmesan cheese and garlic to taste.
  • In general cooking: Pine nuts can be used in pasta salads, pasta meals and in stir-fries.
  • As a snack: Pine nuts are excellent for snacking and mixed with similar nuts such as macadamia nuts and cashews.
