Cooking Instructions:
- Rinse the barley in a fine-mesh sieve.
- Combine 1 cup of barley with 3 cups of water or broth in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45-50 minutes, or until tender.
- Drain any excess liquid and fluff with a fork.
